'Salmariano' Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Classico Riserva DOCG 2019

The Salmariano, aged for 12 months - primarily in stainless steel with 20% matured in small oak barrels - offers refined expression of both freshness and complexity. 

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow hue with delicate golden reflections thanks to brief skin contact. The bouquet is layered and expressive, featuring floral notes of broom and elderflower, underscored by subtle marine and mineral nuances and a gentle touch of vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet balanced, with lively acidity that lifts the ripe fruit character. The wine has a long and sapid finish, with a pronounced mineral edge. It pairs nicely with elaborate first courses, fish, white meat, and soups.
