Produced only in the best vintages, from 100% Sangiovese selected from the vineyards of Castelnuovo dell' Abate (Montalcino), harvested in the first decade of october vinificated in stainless steel tanks for about 30 days.
After the maceration the wine ages in traditional Slavonian oak cask for 48 months.
Subsequently the wine refines for another 12months in the bottle, before released in the market.
